vince:Is not it time for us to reform our political & review our policies. How to reform those ?
S Hussain Zaidi: our approach towards pakistan and terrorism should be very direct and blunt. if its India's 9/11 then India should fight it like one --- without hesitation us attacked afghanistan..its time for India to invake POK, forget international furore, and clearly warn that if next attack happens they will reach Islamabad
julian:Sir,What will be real reason behind the attack,Whether to kill people or destroy indian economy
S Hussain Zaidi: two things that i have gathered so far, during my visits to Kashmir and Pakistan i learnt that ISI is following the policy of 'prick and bleed'. they look at India as some huge anaconda and themselves as a small mongoose they feel that we will prick it, make it bleed and keep making india weaker.....the second thing that they want to create a massive ill will between muslims and hindus of India and want them to fight and get into communal riots so much so that there can be a civil war -- they are working on a fifty year plan
Sajit:Sir, Do you think that this attack on Mumbai would change the attitude of indian politicians? Do you think that the unity and and the anger in public would last long?? Thanks
S Hussain Zaidi: unfortunately our memory and resolves are fickle, we remain angry and resolute only for a short period we will forget soon and get back to chalta hai attitude again
vishal:If Indian agencies have proper evidence against Dawood?? What next steps India should take to put Dawood behind bars??
S Hussain Zaidi: I think Indian government should not think of extradition of Dawood they should plan to get him killed in Pakistan the way Israel deals with its enemies in other countries
Kshma:Hi I really liked your Black Friday book. It really provided good information and how actually blast in bombay had happened. Will you be writing any book on blast happened in last few years?
S Hussain Zaidi: As of now I am busy writing couple of books which are not about blasts. After I am done with those books I will see if others have not managed to put together the pieces of jigsaw puzzle then I may take up the challenge again inshallah
Vijay Agarwal:should India ask Pak to extradite Dawood Ibrahim Let chief ?
S Hussain Zaidi: India has always asked for Dawood's extradition but they have never been able to present incontrovertible evidence to US and Pakistan which establishes his presence on the Pak soil or should we say that ISI bosses manage to always outsmart their Indian counterparts
RAJEEV KUMAR:Every time at the time of terrorist activity we tightened the security and we rememberd the Underworld, But why not we should take it as a regular activity? No.2 Whenever we got success to catch them we are unable to get the enough information from them. Like Abu Salem case. Who is the responsible for that?
S Hussain Zaidi: as a country we are very tolerant towards everything our approach towards terrorism is very soft. the day we become like US and Israel who believe that you touch us with feather and we retaliate with hammer, terrorism will be wiped out from India. Our stupid politicians are responsible for the mess that we are in
noushad:who do you believe is behind the attacks?
S Hussain Zaidi: my guess is a lobby of officers within ISI who does not want truce between India and pakistan have orchestrated the attack. in any country there are always groups within intelligence agencies who operate to accomplish their own vested interests
Vidhya Praveenkumar:I would like to know, who were the real faces that financially supports the terrorists group? from where they emerge?
S Hussain Zaidi: there are strong indications that the some business tycoon in the middle east have funded the whole operation, its too early to put faces to the whole sordid conspiracy let the dust settle in
Rohit:Hi! Everytime there's an attack, we hear of news that there were prior intelligence inputs warning that such an attack would take place. However, is it really possible for the security agencies to act on all the intelligence inputs? Also, do you think India should consider the option of taking a military action against Pakistan if it's proved that either ISI/Pak Navy had trained the militants?
| S Hussain Zaidi: there were several intelligence inputs provided to the union and state governments, however, it was not taken seriously because such inputs keep coming in. in this case the state government had received couple of specific inputs clearly mentioning taj hotel yet they did not act. i think in present times all tip offs should be verified and make us alert
|
Indira:What is the extent of the Mumbai's underworld's complicity in this attack? Do you also think that there was a hostage demand which we are not aware of and which has been hushed down?
S Hussain Zaidi: So far nothing has come up in evidence to establish underworld complicity because these terrorists had used the smuggling route which has strengthened the suspicion that they may be involved. No hostage demand were made
